Tranquil

The man breathed in the fresh air and looked at the picturesque scene before him.

The leaves were gently dancing with the soft breeze, and the trees’ branches quietly nodded their approval. The rustling grass sang happily as it moved with the wind, and the dandelions lovingly parted with their feathery seeds. The river sparkled in the sunlight, looking calm and lively as a few stray flowers rested in its cool waters.

It was a perfectly tranquil scene.

He got up from his place at the bridge and smiled. Without hesitation, he took a step towards the rushing waves and allowed gravity to plunge him into the everlasting restfulness his soul had long searched for.

A gentle plop was all that was heard as the river embraced another of its children with its peaceful yet deathly cold arms. After that, the sunlight kept sparkling, the leaves kept dancing, and the grass kept singing its gay song.
