“I know, that’s all right. Just work for me, same old stuff. Wbu?”

“Umm… I have 2 exams today :c But I’ll be going out with my friends after :3”

“Ah, yes, I remember that you were studying – err, cramming last night. What time should I pick you up?”

“Ahaha, me, cram? Silly >:3 and you don’t need to pick me up! I’ll be home before 7 :3 I’ll have your dinner ready before you get home!”

“Hey, what are you smiling about?”

He quickly looked up to see his mother stare down at him. With a quick movement, she took his phone from him and glanced at the screen.

“Make Your Own Waifu v.14? What the heck is a waifu? Is this the reason why you still don’t have a girlfriend? You spend your time talking to AI women? You’re 30 years old!”

He shook his head as he shoved another spoonful of breakfast into his mouth while his mother continued on with her tirade. A lone teardrop fell from his eye, which he brushed away quickly. He sighed.
